My Story

How do you go from having Tony Robbins’ business partner (who was mentored by Warren Buffett's billionaire business partner) reaching out and insisting YOU are literally “the only one who can help him”, and go from working with the world’s top creators: Hollywood TV and film directors, co-creating and collaborating on shows, commercials, video games, fashion shoots, working with the best innovative talent, building global brands, having lunches with astronauts and developing amazing stories, to losing your home, losing your relationships, and everything friggin’ else, to drop below rock bottom and bounce back again? And again?

The Spirit Phoenix Rises.

While I lost my mom when was only 22, several years later, starting with the death of my father, in the space of 17 months, I’d lost 22 people in my personal and professional life. And the list grew. My husband and I were separated and the divorce attorney was on speed dial. I’d ballooned to just under 300 pounds, caregiving for relative after relative who were terminally ill and drudging toward’s death’s door. Things had been up and down like a roller coaster over the years. The 2008 economy crashed at the same time a teen driver crashed her car into my soon to be ex-husband on MY motorcycle and he ended up bedridden under my care. The house was moving into foreclosure and it was just too much to handle. The old wild days of being a fabulous sparkly club kid and glamorous professional Domme were done. Depression was my new top and I was a heavy bottom. I was broken.

Then…it got worse. Again.

Sure, there were times, depending when you’d drop in to my story, between the Earth shattering dramas, wherein, from the outside, things probably looked like I was doing great. Like when I was on contract with EA Games, working on Steven Spielberg’s secret development gaming project. I was hired to predict and explore the game’s lead female character’s emotional reactions and mind states under the intense story arc, both anticipating her responses and creating digital painting concept art. Getting paid to imagine how a heroine would play her storyline, how she would respond to the extreme situations; the good, the bad…the ugly Unexpected.

I was more than qualified for that.

If there is one thing a Phoenix knows how to do, it’s crash and burn.

This is the only way the Phoenix can rise from the ashes. That character crashed and burned in the story, and I knew how it felt to have your world crushed. It was happening to me. Then the economy crashed. And someone crashed into my soon to be ex husband. Everything crumbled. Like the video game character I was working on, I lost my support system. The game stopped. I got burned. I was thrust on the Hero’s Journey and was not enjoying the call to action.

So how does one bounce back from losing their home, relationships, and business to flying high again? By connecting to Source. By Connecting to Spirit. By reconnecting to the Self.

I learned in order to get out, I had to “Go In”. I’d forgotten to ask for help. Then, I would’ve thought that was my being weak. I had forgotten to use my gifts. I’d forgotten to trust my intuition when red flags where waving right at me. I knew I had to get back to my magical self, and take myself through the dark shadow work, in order to find light at the end of the tunnel.

I reignited my connections with my Spirit Squad and my Higher Self, went back into the realm of Divination and Practice, dove crown chakra first back to Meditation and Yoga. Remembering the Mystical and the Meaningful. And Stella got her Groove back. And I got a house back.

And guess what?

Still married. And the weight came off.

You’ve Lived, Loved, and lost your way a few times. Now, this time, you want to work on you. You want to develop your intuitive skills, so THIS time around, you’ll see the red flags. But you have Questions that kinda linger. You could use a little guidance. You want people to benefit from your skills and experience, but aren’t quite sure where to get started. It’s been shadowy. It’s been a challenge. Let’s connect and find solutions. Together.

Let me share my Divine Guidance with you so you can live YOUR best life and so YOUR Spirit can rise again like a Phoenix!

I discovered my spirit guides as a child and have always been drawn to the paranormal. I became entranced in the spiritualist movement while still in elementary school and the wellness channeling sessions of Edgar Cayce while in high school. In my teens, I found I could create and direct healing energy with my hands and could pick up on others hidden emotions. I finished my masters in Transpersonal Psychology and Consciousness Studies with incredible mentors and professors, everyone from Joseph Campbell’s assistant to noted quantum physicists. I use my gifts to read the Tarot and discuss your Dreams and Archetypes, and as a Sound Healer and Reiki Master, I provide distant energy healing for those who seek it. I teach yoga and do archetypal card readings and spiritually based life coaching for clients who crave understanding and clarity on their path.

Let’s Rise.

Sometimes we all need a little guidance. Sometimes we all Crash and Burn.  Goals are set, then abandoned. We make a void, then we have dig deeper, to find solutions. Wanna get ready to Fly High?

This is where I can help.

WHAT IS SHADOW WORK?

To do Shadow Work is, we must first become conscious of our shadow.  In the physical world, shadows are a product of Light being blocked. According to Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung, our shadow consists of those parts of ourselves that we don’t like to show others, so we choose to repress or hide from general view. Many times, these shadows are a result of incidents in our childhood. Sometimes it occurs during teen or adult years. Regardless, these are wounds and scars we attempt to cover up. But they end up casting behavioral shadows that block our progression. An unholy trinity cycle of guilt, blame and shame begins. and begins again. over and over. Until we see it. And see though it.

Several examples of shadow aspects are selfishness, aggressive impulses, being self-centered, arrogance, shameful experiences, and fears. These aspects lead to certain types of behaviors, such as criticizing someone else that has your flaws, letting people know you’re entitled, judging people unfairly, and always being the victim.

Many negative patterns that affect your life can result by keeping your shadow hidden and locked away. These can include:

  • Addictions

  • Uncontrollable rage/anger

  • Social anxiety

  • Obsessive/compulsive disorders

  • Sexual deviancy

  • Depression

  • Self-sabotage

  • Neuroticism

  • Limiting beliefs

Shadow Work is the process of exploring these aspects and is an endeavor you enter into on your own. There are various means to do this, but you must first acknowledge your shadow, and then embrace and befriend it. Transforming that darkness. Unblocking the light. It is only by bringing these aspects to the surface that you can begin to live authentically, discover your inner wisdom and life purpose, and gain access to your Soul or Higher Self. This is the way of Illumination.

In my practice, when clients choose Shadow Work to connect with their intuition, I utilize other modalities to help facilitate the process since they are all interconnected. Slowing the racing negative thought patterns, getting comfortable with silence is one way to start, so a Mindfulness Meditation practice is valuable to have in your toolbox. Learning to live in the present moment is a new goal.

Cultivating Self-Compassion and Self-Awareness to confront your shadow. Wielding non-judgmental awareness – finessing the ability to stay in the present moment, in flow, without involving the inner critic or other modes of judgment.

“Why should I do Shadow Work?”

Working with your shadow allows you to slowly deepen many interior aspects of yourself and become loving and kind to that which you previously rejected, eventually allowing you to become more compassionate to both yourself and others.

When you work with the shadow you begin to reclaim the projections you put onto others. You turn inward and begin to gently listen and heal those aspects within yourself instead.

Shadow Work is how you integrate the aspects of your unconscious psyche into your conscious experience and allow the positive aspects of the shadow to express themselves. When properly used and channeled, the shadow-self has traits that you can use to further your own personal development.

Some of the traits include:

  • Creativity

  • Intuition

  • Resilience

  • Self-Esteem

Shadow Work is not easy, but until you own your shadow, your shadow will own you. Wouldn’t NOW be the time to begin your journey to self-awareness and freedom to live the life you were born to live?
